Plea for help

I received this message recently. Any help would certainly be appreciated.

My name is Christopher Legaspi, a resident of Navotas City, Philippines. My sister, Alma Theresa “Techie” Legaspi, 36 years old and a mother of three, needs your support badly. She has chronic kidney disease which triggered all the more her existing heart complications. Also, she’s now partially blind (right eye). According to her doctors, our kidney’s normal function should be at least 80%. Techie’s kidneys function only a mere 11%.

Currently, Techie is undergoing peritoneal dialysis but her doctors advised  that it would be best for her is she could have a KIDNEY TRANSPLANT, which we all know will cost her a fortune. We are now in the process of seeking organ donors and other possible means to help lengthen my sister’s life.

Our family has exhausted all our means to help her in her hospitalizations / medications but to no avail. Our funds are depleting, Techie’s life is in danger! Once a sweet and bubbly lady, all we could do now is hope and pray that somehow her condition will touch you and make you feel thankful that you are in the pink of health.

It is our fervent prayer that you could help Techie in any way you can. May the good Lord bless you and your family always.

Calling all urban gardeners. I know there are so many of us in the area who grow so many beautiful gardens. There is a website called www.mygrowlist.org that you can check.

I just harvested the most delicious tomatoes (golden yellow, not found in the stores) and tiny eggplants. I also got a dehydrator and dried some thyme and sliced zucchinis. I will be drying some lavender and rosemary and mix in some sea salt with them. Yum Yum. Would like to hear what everyone else is growing.
